"60 Years of Nikšić steel" football tournament organized for Tosçelik Nikšić employees in the honor of company’s anniversary was completed with the triumph of the team Radnički.

Radnički team beated Parma team with the score of 6:1 at the final, while Ađustaža team became 3rd by beating team Kostolomci with 8:6. Erkut Alkaya, Member of Board of Directors at Tosçelik Nikšić, was present in the audience during the tournament.

Today, a small award ceremony was organized in the factory restaurant. General Manager Güray Güzeler distributed the madals to the players of the three winning teams, as well as to the best player Radovan Đikanović, the best goal keeper Radisav Mušikić and the best shooter Nenad Perišić.

The company awarded the best team and best players with cash prize. The winning team has been awarded with a celebration cake which was shared with the other participants of the tournament.

The employees’ interest to the tournament was big. 10 teams of approximately 100 players participated in the tournament.

This tournament was only one of the many acitivities planned for Tosçelik Nikšić’s 60th anniversary by the management. In the prospective acitivities the children of the employees will be also included. Today, Tosçelik Nikšić company opened their doors to the students of 1st Technical Middle School in Nikšić and educational center in Plužin.

Tosçelik Nikšić General Manager, Güray Güzeler, gave informational factory tour about steel producing. Tosçelik Nikšić quality and 60 years of tradition.

Mr. Güzeler pointed out that steel from Nikšić is utilized in the automotive and engineering industry, electronic technology, oil rigs construction and many other areas in every continent.

Mr. Güzeler mentioned that Montenegran factory became part of Tosyalı Holding, one of the most successful international companies in metal industry, in 2012.

The students visited the administrative building, the warehouse of finished products, the forging and quality control areas, where the heads of organizational units explained the manufacturing process in detail.

Company representatives emphasized the importance of constantly acquiring knowledge in this field, because the steel industry is dynamically changing with new technological developments and as a result the engineers face additional challenges.

Tosçelik Nikšić, organized a free concert for Nikšić community in the honor of 60th anniversary of the factory years, in cooperation with the municipality of Nikšić. Van Gogh, one of the legendary bands in the region, performed at the unforgettable concert.

Van Gogh performed their popular songs to more than 2.500 people. The atmosphere was memorable.

Young Nikšić band, Rock in Peace also performed at the concert.
